2021
Postdoctoral Research Scientist

During my PhD, I worked mostly with healthy young adults. For my postdoc I was interested in extending this work to study how systems change with age - specifically, I studied which aspects of memory declined with age, and which remained constant.
In this work, I leveraged computational modeling and natuarlistic studies in addition to using the techniques from my PhD work.
2015
PhD in Experimental Psychology (Neuroscience)
University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Milwaukee, WI USA
My doctoral research focused on how the memory system interacts with other systems (attention, cognitive control) to support behaviour, and the brain regions that support these interactions.
I used a combination of techniques such as behavioural tasks, eye-tracking and fMRI to investigate these questions.
2013
MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience
University of York, York, UK
This is where I learned about the anatomy of the brain, the fundamentals of brain imaging, and statistical modeling of timeseries (fMRI and MEG/EEG) data. My dissertation project here explored the brain networks that allow us to recognise familiar melodies.
